Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellow, Project Assistant and Project Fellows at the Interdisciplinary School of Scientific Computing (ISSC) to work on the specified research projects under the Departmental Research Programme. The posts of Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant are currently up to March 31st 2013.

1. Junior Research Fellow

Eligibility: M.Sc  in Scientific Computing / Computer Science / Electronics / Physics /Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics with exposure to computation. The candidate should have M.Sc. degree from a reputed University with at least 55% marks.

Desirable Qualification: NET or equivalent examination.

Number of Posts: 1 OPEN

Payment: Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA

2. Project Assistant

Eligibility: M.Sc. (Scientific Computing / Mathematics) degree from a reputed University with at least 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications: Familiarity with one or more of the following.
(a) C/C++ programming
(b) Mathematical Number Theory algorithms

Number of Posts: 1 OPEN

Payment: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. Consolidated

3. Project Fellows

Eligibility: M.Sc. Scientific Computing / Computer Science / M.Tech.(Modeling and Simulation) students in their second year.

Number of Posts: 4 (2 OPEN, 1 SC, 1 ST)

Research Areas:
(a) Computational Nanoscience
(b) Mathematical Cryptography

Payment: Rs. 6,000/- p.m. Consolidated from January 2013 to June 2013
